MY PROJECTS
LIVE NATION CLEVELAND
This summer internship was truly the best experience I could've had in the industry. I had the opportunity to create dozens of creative content ideas throughout the summer. For each show that I worked, I created a concert recap video, chronicled the event on Instagram stories, and worked on a specific creative concept that related to the show. I worked on content for various audiences like fangirls, country fans, different generations and so much more. I worked across departments with sponsorship for interactive content and giveaways. Every week, I found unique and creative ways to promote one or various shows to Live Nation's audience. My time was a huge success, as each page that I worked on grew by several hundred followers and engagement increased in every aspect. I worked to help personify the brand in a challenging way that ultimately helped potential consumers down the ticket-purchasing path. Below you can find some of our most successful videos this summer. Please feel free to reach out with any questions. Enjoy:
(PROFESSIONAL)
DESIGN
YOUR LIFE
(ACADEMIC)
This academic project was completed in the Fall of my Junior semester for my class Design Thinking, Inclusion and Ethics. This project consisted of several parts. The first part represented what my personal definition of 'work' was. It asked students to expand on the definition and what it means to us for our daily lives and how it affects our philosophy. The second part contains failures and successes. I have several of each listed and describe how each situation affected my views on my own work and philosophy. The third part was the Wheel of Life. Each section of the wheel was to be rated and related to how it was affecting my current life. The fourth part dealt with ethics. I was to pick words from a chart that was shown in the classroom, and reason why they were the best choices to define ethics, as well as some organizations that seemed to align with my ethical standards. The fifth part was about diversity and inclusion. Here I defined each type of diversity in my own terms and what it could look like in the workplace, as well as finding job postings that fit those morals. The final piece of this project was to conduct interviews. I spoke with two vastly different industry professionals and asked specific and direct questions to dive deeper into what it means to be a professional in the music industry. Overall, this project was very informative and has allowed me to expand my personal network through the interviews.
STYLES
(ACADEMIC)
This academic project is easily my favorite project I have ever done in school. This past year I took an English course that was centered entirely around Rock & Roll and its history. During this, we were each to select an artist of our choice to conduct a semester-long deep-dive into their career. I chose to write about Harry Styles. The portfolio is made up of six separate literary works, each addressing a different aspect of Harry's discourse and career. Along with the written papers is the website that I created. Each page is intentionally designed to bring the entire project to life. Each image, song choice, media choice, design, font, or color is meant to bring out the ambiance of the discourse surrounding Harry Styles and the Fan experience. The featured work in this portfolio is the Policy of Truth, as it is a collective summary of my personal opinions after research and as a fan in general.
This project truly pushed me to see how far into an artist's core discourse I could go. I did several deep dives into not only Harry's past and present career, but also into his fanbase, the connection he has with his audience, and the role that some aspects of his celebrity persona have in creating the discourse. I combined all of this research with my existing knowledge as a massive fan, and poured all of it into this project.

JAY WELLS
&
B. JONES
This extracurricular project was actually something that happened by a complete accident. My sister was hired to photograph a small music event in Cleveland in May of 2021. She asked me if I wanted to come and, since I had nothing else going on, I decided to make the leap and go with her. The event was featuring two artists: Jay Wells, @thelegacyofjay on IG (11.4k followers), and B. Jones, @bdotjones__ on IG (4.5k followers). While she shot the show, I had a front row seat against the window in front of the artists. I thought that the angle was super cool and wanted to record a bit. Because I had a ton of experience making personal videos of friends every summer, I asked my sister for her spare camera to film. I thought that, at the very least, I could film these performances and make a little video that wouldn't ever go anywhere. I ended up meeting and connecting with both artists and sending them the videos later on. Jay actually posted the video to his Instagram account, raved about it on his story, and had several industry friends repost it to their stories. It was honestly a really special moment for me, seeing as I had not even expected to share the video with the artist, let alone have them post it to tens of thousands of people.

MARKET
RESEARCH
PROJECT
(ACADEMIC)
This academic project is one that was completed during this year's Market Research class at the University of Cincinnati. I collaborated with three fellow students to conduct the research, data collection and presentation of a project about the brand Ann Taylor. The goal of the assignment was to rebrand the company so that they could appeal more to members of Gen Z. Our group focused on changing social media content, a concept store in collaboration with Men's Warehouse, and a collaboration with Lululemon. We had the opportunity to not only host, but also participate in, a focus group for the project. We had 45 minutes to ask our carefully-crafted questions. From there, we created a survey using Qualtrics and collected over 200 responses. After this, we conducted research on our responses and summarized our findings into a final proposal and presentation. While I know that this project has nothing to do with the music industry, it was my first experience conducting market research. The process of creating, collecting, analyzing and understanding our survey responses was very rewarding and informative. I genuinely feel that this project helped me gain better insight into Marketing and conducting research.
LIVE
SHOWS
These concert photos are honestly just to share the memories for fun. I have been to a decent chunk of concerts over the past several years and I love chatting about them with people! These pictures are just taken and edited on my iPhone, nothing too crazy. I have always loved concert photography and I would love to bring a camera to some shows one day just for fun.
